Bellarmine Centro

Centro commands a gateway position at the new formal entry to the campus. New additions (classrooms and offices) to the south and west of existing Horrigan Hall will create a new Campus center. The additions are multi-level, they orient across and along a hill-side site, and effectively relate to the existing buildings floor-to-floor dimensions. A major program component is the demolition and office infill of the existing Horrigan wing. The existing Horrigan Hall’s 1950’s façades are being completely renovated with new windows and sunscreening. Concrete repair will also be done to the existing sunshades. Horrigan Hall’s west façade is also important within the campus as it expands to the west with the Montepulciano Cluster and the Recreation Center and Convocation Center to the north.
