The Fairdale Clinic and Neighborhood Place is an innovative idea in community services that combines a County Health Clinic and a neighborhood Place for various federal, state and local social services into one building. It required cooperation and input from a variety of agencies and user groups, and was funded through a Community Development Block Grant. An entry element provides a lobby for both functions and provides a beacon for the community. Extensive use of rooftop windows provides natural light to all parts of the building.
