Winchester/Clark County Facility

This Project will serve as the Winchester Branch of Bluegrass Community & Technical College. It is a miniature community college in one multi-purpose building and includes classrooms, administration, science labs, computer labs, meeting rooms, a student center and a library. A 2,300 s.f. full-service Childcare Center and associated outdoor play area is also included.

VIPS - Visually Impaired Preschool Services

Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS) assists children who are blind or sight-impaired. This 8,000 s.f. addition more than doubled the size of the existing facility. Color and textures were critical in the design of the spaces.

Satellite campus for Bowling Green Technical College, including Building One for technical training, science laboratories, and a business/industry laboratory component. In addition, there are administrative areas, testing areas, and support spaces. Building Two for Welding Machine Shop training.

New stadium for lacrosse, soccer and track & field. Includes a rubberized track, artificial field turf, bleachers, locker rooms, coach’s offices, training room, press box, concession stand, restroom and storage.

New prototypical elementary school for 650 students including classrooms (K thru 5), PreK classrooms, gymnasium, media center, cafeteria/kitchen, administrative offices and support spaces.

Science classroom building including biology, chemistry, physics, math and environmental sciences laboratories. Also included are faculty offices, general classrooms and a library/resource center.

University of Louisville Ekstrom Library

University of Louisville Ekstrom Library

The library expansion is organized on 3 levels around a naturally lit central atrium space and is connected to the existing building at all levels, along its central axis, with a new five level main stair atrium. A three story volume “book box” will house the Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS) which will house over 1.2 million volumes at full capacity.
