The library expansion is organized on 3 levels around a naturally lit central atrium space and is connected to the existing building at all levels, along its central axis, with a new five level main stair atrium. A three story volume “book box” will house the Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS) which will house over 1.2 million volumes at full capacity.

The Licking Valley Center serves as the Cynthiana Branch of Maysville Community College. It is a miniature community college in one multi-purpose building and includes classrooms, administration, science labs, computer labs, meeting rooms, a student center and a library.
