1,700 sf oceanfront house on the Central Oregon Coast. The house features vertical cedar siding and is oriented to screen the highway to the east, placing living spaces to the west. Minimal removal of existing trees was a major design goal and living spaces were placed to take advantage of the spectacular views towards Seal Rock to the south.
