Jefferson County Public Schools
Louisville, Kentucky
One of the original high schools in Louisville, Valley High was in need of a renewal programmatically and physically. Four new Magnet programs were programmed and arranged as academies within the existing school. The Magnet Programs are Medical Science, Allied Health, Environmental Study and the Freshman Academy.
This was combined with a major HVAC renovation.
In addition, a new 3,200 seat Arena and a 700 seat Auditorium were added. These new elements also created a Campus Green at the center of the school.
