VBNA selected to design SmART Stop Bus Stops
VBNA has been selected to design two bus stops for the SmART Stop program included in the Vision Russell Neighborhood Transformation Plan. The bus stops are to include Louisville/Russell Neighborhood history and art as well as including technology from TARC’s technology upgrade initiative. Community input is though discussions at Vision Russell events is being incorporated into the designs which will be constructed in Fall 2017. Alexander Milne Home for Women nears completion
Our New Orleans partners on the Milne Home project have uploaded a fantastic aerial video of the construction progress. The Alexander Milne Home For Women is a residential facility for developmentally disabled women in which care, treatment, and community based services are provided 24-hours a day. Originally located in New Orleans, the Milne Home relocated operations to a 50-acre area in Waldheim, Louisiana and selected VBNA/Broadmoor Design Group to design its Intermediate Care Facility. An Urban Vest Pocket Park in Portland
VBNA recently participated in a competition to design a park on a small abandoned lot in Portland. KSU Center for Families and Children has received a LEED Silver rating from the USGBC. This is the first LEED building on the KSU campus and the first daycare in Kentucky to be certified.
